Height: 30

Spacing: 8" apart or 4 bulbs per square foot

Soil Needs: Average to fertile, well-drained

Bloom Time: Late spring

Uses: Flower beds, rock gardens, cut flowers, borders- on the edges of woods or garden spaces, deer-resistant

Care: Fritillaria prefers organically rich soil - amend the area with compost before planting. Feed with a granular flower bulb fertilizer at planting time or in the spring when the leaves emerge. Fritillaria does not like to be disturbed, once you have chosen its home it is recommended that you leave it where you plant it. Cut back spent flowers and allow foliage to die back naturally before removing it (4-6 weeks after flowering).
