Pineapple Surprise Coleus is a center stage coleus with leaf patterns in burgundy and lime green. Premium Sun Coleus series offers bold patterns, brilliant colors, and reliable performance in sunny gardens and patio planters. This coleus series can tolerate full sun in regions with high humidity. Perfectly suitable for shaded spots too. Plants grow to 28-30” by 18-22” wide.

Germination: 10-15 days

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 70-75ºF

Seed Planting Depth: Sow on the surface, needs light to germinate

Starting Indoors:  Start indoors 8-12 weeks before the last frost. Provide 65-75 ºF soil temperatures. Provide 70-75ºF soil temperatures until germination. Transplant after the last frost date,10-12” apart.

Sowing Outdoors: Direct sowing outdoors is not recommended

Care: Water seedlings regularly until established. When grown in containers coleus needs to be fertilized and watered regularly. During the heat of summer, they will need to be watered a few times a week. Apply a liquid fertilizer every 2 weeks or use a time-release fertilizer at planting time.
