The Lady Slipper Radish is sort of slipper-shaped, hence the name. It is a lovely bright pink color that is unusual, quite spicy, and resistant to cracking.

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 60-75ºF.

Seed Sowing Depth: 1/2" deep

Sowing Outdoors: Starting in early spring. Sow 1/2-1" apart, thin to 1-2" apart, soon after the seedlings emerge.

Harvest: 3-4 weeks after planting at 1” in diameter, pull them promptly as they rapidly decline, becoming tough and pithy

Tips: Lady Slipper Radish needs rapid growth for optimum results. Provided fertile soil and consistent moisture. For a continuous harvest make successive plantings every 7-10 days when the weather is still cool.
