This little Fritillaria is an uncommon spring flowering bulb ideal for rock gardens and will naturalize over time. It is adorned with maroon bell-shaped, nodding flowers with showy, recurving petals trimmed in golden yellow. Fritillaria michailovskyi requires dry conditions, especially during dormancy.

Care: Amend soil with compost before planting bulbs. Feed with a granular flower bulb fertilizer at planting time or in the spring when the leaves emerge. Cut back spent flowers and allow foliage to die back naturally before removing it (4-6 weeks after flowering). They will continue to multiply each year.
