A northwestern native with elegant, tall upright stems and loose spires of vivid, lilac-blue, 6-petaled, star-shaped flowers that open from the bottom up, creating a long blooming period. Unlike most bulbs, Cammasia Lily grows best in moist soil with good fertility. Its natural habitat is moist spring meadows in full to partial sun.

Light Needs:Â Full sun to light shade
Soil Needs: Moist, fertile soil
Bloom Time: Mid spring
Uses:Â Flower beds, cut flowers, wild gardens, and naturalizing, moist soils, deer-resistantÂ
Care:  Amend soil with compost before planting bulbs. Feed with a granular flower bulb fertilizer at planting time or in the spring when the leaves emerge. Cut back spent flowers and allow foliage to die back naturally before removing it (4-6 weeks after flowering). Will continue to multiply each year and can be split every few years.
