Daydream Cosmos

The breeding work for this cosmos focused on developing a consistent, uniform, extra-early blooming bi-color cosmos and they did just that. The 2 to 3 inch round blooms begin just 4 weeks from transplanting, and feature wide, overlapping petals that are white around the edges and fade to a dark pink "eye." It works very well in masses, by itself, or interplanted with other large cosmos, and makes a fresh, pretty cut flower.

Germination: 7-10 days

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 70-75ºF.

Seed Planting Depth: Sow ⅛” deep

Starting Indoors: Start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost. Provide 70-75 ºF soil temperature. Transplant after the last frost,12-18” apart.

Sowing Outdoors: Direct sow outdoors after the last frost, sow a few seeds every 6", thin 12-18" apart.
