Mountain Mint
Mountain Mint is native to eastern North America. This rustic mint is valued for its nectar rich flowers, attracting beneficials into the garden space. Grows to 3-4 feet, forming multiple tiers of small white flowers speckled with lavender. Leaves can be used for tea and when crushed have a spicy mint flavor, also said to help repel insects. Place this pollinator attractor along the edges of a woodland or back border of the garden. Full to part shade.

Seed Planting Depth: on surface, lightly press in
Starting Indoors/Outdoors: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Provide 65-70 degree soil temperature. Transplant 10-12" apart. Sow outdoors around last frost date, a few seeds every 2-3", thin to 10-12" apart. Starting indoors provides the most successful results.
