Add a splash of color to salads with the unique red-veined Nemesis arugula. Fine red lines rise up the leaves, branching out into each lobe. Uniform leaves are quick to harvest and work well for succession planting. Has the same bright, peppery flavor as other arugulas.

Eruca sativa

Germination: 3-7 days

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 60-70ºF

Seed Sowing Depth: ¼ inch deep

Sowing Outdoors: Early spring through late summer and fall. Sow heavy seeded rows, 40-50 seeds per foot. Sow every 2-3 weeks for a continuous harvest. 

How much does a packet plant: 10-12 foot single row  

Harvest: Start cutting leaves at  2-4". 

Tips: Plant Nemesis Arugula in fertile, well-drained soil. Amend soil with compost, well-rotted manure, and/or organic granular fertilizer before planting. Provide adequate, even moisture for the best growth. Use row cover to control flea beetles. When arugula bolts the flowers are edible and attract pollinators.
