For those of you who like spicy, tangy, and piquant tasting salads. It’s a broad, smooth leaved cress that is very productive and very fast growing. Plant in 2 week successions for a summer full of peppery flavor, similar to Nasturtium leaves but notably hotter.

Germination: 7-14 days
Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures 60-65ºF. Soil temperatures above 70ºF inhibits germination.
Seed Sowing Depth: 1/4 inch deep
Sowing Outdoors: Spring when soil temperature reaches 50ºF. Sow in spring and late summer/fall. Sow 1" apart, thin to 3-6" apart. Sow every 2-3 weeks for a continuous harvest. Keep soil moist until germination.

Harvest: Clip individual leaves or pick whole head
Tips: Plant in fertile, well drained soil. Amend with compost before planting if needed. Provide adequate, even moisture for the best growth.
