Germination: 7-14 days
Seed Planting Depth: on surface, lightly cover
Starting Indoors/Outdoors: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Provide 65-70 degree soil temperature.Transplant 12" apart. Sow outdoors in spring 1-2 weeks before the last frost date, or in the fall , a few seeds every 2-3", thinning to 12-15" apart
Light Needs: Full sun to light shade
Soil Needs: Valerian needs fertile, well drained but moist soil
